Palestinian prisoners’ mass hunger strike enters its 6th day despite all punitive measures taken by Israeli prison officials against over 1,600 prisoners who staged their open-ended hunger strike under the slogan “Freedom and dignity”.
As more than 1,600 Palestinian political prisoners launched an open-ended hunger strike on Monday, Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, Israeli Prison Service (IPS) officials took a series of punitive measures against the participating prisoners, particularly those leading the strike.
Israeli regime has detained more than 400 Palestinians in less than a year over social media activity, Israeli daily Haaretz reported citing sources from regime’s army and internal security service the Shin Bet.
