Alwaght- Yemeni army fired multiple missiles against a military position in the southern Jizan region late Sunday night.
The Rocket Battalion of the Yemeni army used its Katyusha missile launchers to target the military camp and at least 3 of the missiles hit their target, Yemen-based Al-Jabhah News Agency reported.
Some other checkpoints and installations near the camp were also hit in the missile attack.
The attack was to retaliate a Saudi airstrike in the Ibb Governate that killed 17 Yemeni civilians on Sunday morning.
Saudi forces already began another round of airstrike against the Sanaa and Sa'ada governorates of Yemen.
Saudi Arabia has been incessantly pounding Yemen since March 2015, with the UN putting the death toll from the military aggression at about 10,000. The offensive was launched to reinstate Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a Saudi ally who has resigned as Yemen’s president.
