Alwaght- At least four people have been killed and dozens more injured on Monday after a truck bomb explosion rocked the Green Village district of Afghanistan's capital city, Kabul.
The Taliban militant group claimed responsibility for the blast near the Green Village compound, which houses several international companies and charities, in eastern Kabul.
According to Afghanistan's Public Health Ministry spokesperson Wahidullah Mayar, 93 people were wounded included 24 children.
Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesperson for the Taliban, said the militant group was responsible for the attack in which he claimed dozens of foreign and Afghan security forces were killed and wounded.
"Five attackers, including the suicide bomber driving an explosives-laden vehicle, were involved in the attack," Mujahid said in a statement.
