Alwaght-Four US Army Marines were shot dead during shooting spree at a Naval Reserve center in US city of Chattanooga in the state of Tennessee, on Thursday morning.
Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke says the suspected gunman is also dead while a trooper and a police officer have been injured during shootings.
A male driving a car first opened fire at an Armed Forces Career Center at a mall and then sped off in the car toward the US Naval Reserve Center on Amnicola highway, where he fatally shot at the offices, killing the four Marines.
It is not known whether the gunman was killed by officers or shot himself.
Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez was identified as the gunman who opened fire on the two military centers.
Investigators were seeking to determine on Thursday night what led
24-year-old Abdulazeez, identified as the shooter to open fire at the Marines.
